WWE Women's World Champion Naomi and her husband, Jimmy Uso, are expecting their first child together, causing her to relinquish her title on Monday's (August 18) live broadcast of RAW.
Naomi, 37, whose real name is Trinity Fatu, showed a clip of her and Uso, 39, whose real name is Jonathan Fatu, revealing the news during an appearance on former WWE CEO Stephanie McMahon's What's Your Story? podcast, which went live immediately after RAW. The child will be the couple's first since getting married in 2014, while Uso has two others from a prior relationship.
Naomi was in arguably the best run of her WWE career, having cashed-in the Money in the Bank briefcase on former WWE Women's World Champion Iyo Sky at the Evolution premium live event last month and retained the title at SummerSlam.
Naomi made her main roster debut as a member of the 'Funkadactyls' in 2012 and won the SmackDown Women's Championship for the first time in 2017. The 37-year-old had previously walked out of WWE in 2023 with former tag team partner Sasha Banks -- now known as Mercedes Moné in All Elite Wrestling and various other promotions -- before returning at the Royal Rumble premium live event in January 2024.
Uso and his real life twin brother, Jey Uso, are one of the most decorated tag teams in WWE history, having won tag team titles eight times during their WWE tenures, as well as longtime members of 'The Bloodline' faction with their real life relative Roman Reigns, which served as WWE's primary storyline for several years.
