R. Kelly’s Attorney Compares Singer to Martin Luther King Jr.
So I guess R. Kelly’s lawyers are pretty much throwing Hail Mary’s now.
Yesterday, in closing arguments, his defense attorneys compared him to Martin Luther King Jr.
They argued that Kelly’s quest to prove his innocence in his sexual abuse case is somehow comparable to King’s lifelong battle for constitutional rights.
Y’all do know MLK led protests in America with hopes to uphold the Constitution and convince the US government to practice equal and fair treatment to all citizens.
If that’s the best they've got against prosecutors with dozens of witnesses and all sorts of evidence? Yeah, he's getting locked up.
Anyway Kelz faces 10 years to life if he’s convicted, and has pending cases in multiple other districts.
