On Wednesday (Oct. 18), Playboi Carti and Lil Uzi Vert unveiled the dates for their upcoming 16*29 Tour, after teasing a joint project of the same name earlier in September. In a recent turn of events, Uzi took to Twitter to announce that he's opting out of the tour to take a break.

"Not going on tour wit carti need 2 focus," the rapper wrote on Thursday morning (Oct. 19), although he didn't reveal what he's actually focusing on. At the time of writing, Carti hasn't commented on Uzi's decision to back out of the tour.

If the tour continues without Uzi, it will begin in Denver on Nov. 17 and will continue until the end of December. Chicago rapper G-Herbo and SOB x RBE have also joined the trek as special guests.

Back in September, Uzi teased that a joint mixtape between him and Carti is "on the way" but no further details have been announced since.
