ESPN Under Fire for Sketch of White People Buying Black Players

With fantasy football season underway, sports networks are trying fun ways to get viewers involved in mock drafts to help them with their fantasy roster. But ESPN took it a bit too far by hosting an auction where white people are auctioning off NFL players to the highest bidders.

An ESPN segment briefly showed a clip of an auction, with Odell Beckham Jr. being “sold” to a group of white people by an auctioneer. I think it was more of the visual of a crowd of bidding on a black man.

ESPN did issue the following statement:

Auction drafts are a common part of fantasy football, and ESPN’s segments replicated an auction draft with a diverse slate of top professional football players. Without that context, we understand the optics could be portrayed as offensive, and we apologize.”

Usher Refuses to Settle Out of Court with STD Accusers?

Usher refuses to settle with the people who’ve claimed that he’s exposed them to herpes.

That’s what TMZ reports, and one of its sources said Usher has no intention of paying off the accuser to quiet the noise or to get rid of the embarrassment. On the other side, however, if the lawsuits drag on and it’s more cost effective for Usher to settle down the road, he may end up giving the accusers some money.

Classy Clap Back from Lil Uzi Vert On Kodak Black's Diss

It appears that Lil Uzi Vert is unbothered by the comments Kodak made when he went live on IG and dissed him and Lil Yachty.

Lil Uzi said "If I was poor, that would’ve got to me,” he added. “If I was poor, I would have had all day to think about that. But due to the fact that I’m gettin’ money, you know…

”It’s unclear why Kodak has a problem with Lil Uzi Vert and Lil Yachty but it’s very clear that Lil Uzi Vert is unbothered by it.
