Angelina Jolie is open to a future in politics.

Asked on “Good Morning America” on Wednesday whether she’d ever considering running for office, the human rights advocate replied, “You know, if I thought I’d be effective, I would.”

“But I’m not sure if I would ever be taken seriously in that way, and be able to be effective,” the Oscar winner added.

Jolie previously dismissed the idea in years past, saying she had to many too “skeletons” in her closet — but that seems to have changed.

“I wonder if by now if my skeletons are out,” Jolie laughed. “They’re probably all out.”

And though the specifics are still up in the air, there is one event definitely on the actress’ agenda: marrying longtime partner Brad Pitt.

“We don’t have a date, and we’re not hiding anything, but we really don’t know,” Jolie insisted, again discussing their kids’ idea for a paintball-themed bash.

Jolie went on to note, ”I think the important thing is that whatever we do it’s that the kids do have a great time, and we all — you know, take seriously the love, and the connection between all of us. But also just get silly and do something memorable.”
